"What Does it Mean to Trust Jesus?"-Children and Youth Discussion Time

We love our children and youth and take seriously our responsibility in teaching them the gospel. At the heart of our CDM and YDM is the clear proclamation of the gospel. Each week our corporate gatherings are centered on proclaiming Christ, and Him crucified, buried and resurrected. Our children’s worship guides are designed to lead our children in exploring the content of scripture and how it reveals who God is and what He has done through Christ. We want our children and youth to understand the gospel. And we want them to follow Christ!

In our efforts to continue helping our children and youth consider Christ, the pastors are holding a discussion time  on what it means to trust in Jesus. This discussion time will be Sunday afternoon, September 11th at 3pm. (The location has not yet been determined.) Some of you have children and youth who have not yet trusted Christ. Some of them are regularly asking questions about baptism, church membership, and salvation. This discussion time is meant to help them work through their questions. So, we encourage you to make plans to bring your children and youth to this event. After our discussion time we will have a meal for all those who attend. Parents you are invited to attend as well. If you have any questions regarding the age of your children and whether they should attend just speak to one of the pastors.

We ask that all OVCers and friends pray for our children and youth as well as this specific event. We are trusting God will use this time for his glory.
